About Me

Although I am originally from Sweden I have lived in Ireland for over ten years now. From an early age I have loved all types of animals and apart from dogs I am a keen horse enthusiast. My interest in dog training started when I got my first dog and like a lot of people was quite overwhelmed at how much work a puppy can be.

Since then I have concentrated a vast majority of my time and energy into becoming a kind and effective dog trainer. As you will see in my photo gallery I have three dogs myself, a Siberian Husky called Leon, a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Phoenix and a mongral called Kya.

My Philosophy when it comes to dog training is that it's not so much a case of training the dog as it is building a relationship between dog and owner.

I have completed a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, which included studies in animal behaviour. I have also completed an instructors 'shadowing' class in Sweden, which means that you 'shadow' an experienced instructor while she works and you learn how to hold dog/puppy classes. I have also completed a Dog Training Diploma Course(Distinction) and a Dog/Canine Psychology Diploma Course(Distinction).

'I have completed a course called Fear and reservation in dogs towards humans and been to a seminar called Four ways to improve your bond/communication with your dog both for Eva Bodfaldt who is one of the leading dog behaviourist in Sweden. As well as having completed those courses I have years of experience of training dogs successfully.
